The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer , you'll lead Python data transformation projects, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across teams. You'll ensure system performance, propose solutions, and offer technical guidance on database management. This role requires Python expertise, CI/CD proficiency, and database knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Develop enterprise-level Python data transformation jobs, containerizing it and CI/CD for DTAP (Dev, test, acc and prod environments) process
• Review and development/maintenance of documentation of the currently deployed architecture
• Technical analysis of requested changes, including suggestions of improvements to system performance
• Provide technical review and information to other non-technical staff and vendor technical staff
• Review and/or supervise the work of others
• Collaborate with other teams and departments
• Data modeling, designing, and managing custom solutions
• Showcase Data warehousing techniques/best practices
• Analyze the reported problem/request
• Identify the necessary data elements
• Propose and implement end-to-end solutions. Every development will be expected to be deployed automatically by a CI/CD pipeline process in this position.
• Coordinate of or perform requested research and the analysis required for work proposals, software and systems modifications, and new projects.
• Oversee the analysis, designs, plans, diagrams, and verify procedures for existing and proposed applications.
• Provide technical advice, assistance, and recommendations in matters related to programming operations and problems, including Production issues.

Ideal Profile

Requirements:

• Must have at least 7+ years of experience in Python (those who have less than 7 years of experience may still be considered depending on the overall skillset).
• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building pipelines. Knowledgeable in Data warehousing and Data modeling
• Must have extensive experience in CI/CD is a must
• Must have extensive experience in different databases such as SQL, MSSQL, MYSQL, Oracle, and others
• Knowledgeable in Data cleansing and Data transformation
