Senior Design Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Coordinator with strong Middle East project experience in interior fit-out works, including marble, joinery, and specialist finishes. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, strong coordination skills, and proven experience managing and coordinating design teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage design deliverables for fit-out projects across multiple disciplines

• Review and manage shop drawings, material submittals, and design documents related to marble, joinery, and interior finishes
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design compliance and timely approvals
• Manage and supervise remote design and drafting teams, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines
• Resolve design conflicts and provide technical guidance to the team
• Ensure drawings comply with Middle East standards, project specifications, and client requirements
• Track design progress, revisions, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 8–10 years relevant experience in interior fit-out projects
• Proven Middle East experience (GCC projects preferred)
• Strong knowledge of marble, joinery, and high-end fit-out works
• Experience managing remote or offshore design teams
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, shop drawings, and coordination workflows
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage)

• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, detailing, and construction methods
• Ability to review and mark up drawings efficiently
• Comfortable using collaboration and document control tools (Aconex or similar is a plus)
