Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. Apply technical engineering techniques and methods using international design standards such as UK, US, and Middle East Mechanical Design Codes.

Conduct internal review and quality checks of engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with the project's requirements.

Liaise with other disciplines within the MEP Project Team for coordination MEP works and ensure all requirements are understood.

Prepare and register all relevant documentation and design reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and in compliance with the Arcadis requirements.

Liaise with the Function Leaders and Design Manager to keep informed of all developments or changes associated with the project.

Identify risks and potential deviations to the project's required scope of work.

Ensure compliance with scope of works, time schedule and cost control.

Deliver technically complete design documentation, summary reports and technical reports for Design Managers

Record man-hour charges accurately into weekly timesheets and ensure correctness of project and non-project man-hour charges.

Resource and develop skills and knowledge base of Design, Assistant and Graduate Engineers assigned to projects.

Liaise with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinators assigned to projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

Licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME).

8 to 10 years minimum relevant post-graduate experience.

Highly proficient in the following mechanical engineering design fundamentals: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, etc.
