Their projects can have 2 to 12-month lifespans, and are across a broad range of industries from B2B to B2C (travel, real estate, education, medical, builders, fashion, advertising, etc). About the role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be working with our development team on best development practices, best code quality standards and DevOps. We are on the hunt for people who want to make an impact on the products they build and are prepared to think outside the box.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our tech lead and engineering team to identify, define, design, and implement technical solutions for our clients
- Decipher frontend solutions, be able to ensure delivery per the solution
- Write clean, high-quality and scalable code focused on maintainability and readability
- Conduct code reviews and effectively troubleshoot issues
- Work closely with Product Owners to understand requirements and contribute to sprint planning based on frontend capabilities and constraints
- Assist in project scoping and provide updates on project status when required
- Stay updated with tech trends, sharing knowledge with the team and proposing relevant strategies for implementation
- Participate in client meetings and consult to clients & team alike.
Ideally you’ll have:
- Previous experience working as Software Engineer in a fast-paced agency / start up environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with ability to work autonomously in a very collaborative environment
- Pro-active / can-do attitude
- Passion for your work and drive to continuously learn and grow
Technical Experience - Must haves
- Javascript with ES6 standards
- Typescript
- Git version control
- Testing Framework (Jest or others)
- React.js / Next.js
- React Native
- Flutter
