YOUR ROLE

• Manage permits related to product importation for all Henkel Philippines entities; Ensuring verification of information and availability prior order placement for Custom Clearance
  
• Apply permits related to export and importation as required by the business - Pollution Control Officer (PCO), Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) & Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA), Logistics, etc.
  
• Handle and provide permit monitoring report (for import and export) to key stakeholders
  
• Support Logistics Manager to develop and apply a consistent logistics strategy in compliance with business standards, driving customer service excellence, and ensuring cost-effective service; Coordinate with carriers, forwarders, bonded warehouses, customs, customs brokers, etc. as needed
  
• Initiate and implement productivity projects with Continuous Improvement approach
  

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; Licensure is required 
  
• With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in Logistics - handling product importation and exportation licenses/ permits; Preferably obtained from a multinational company
  
• Knowledge in MS Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required; Skills in SAP (P03 and Ariba), Macro/ VBA is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  
• Preferably with experience in project management and applying a continuous improvement mindset 
  
• Amenable to report on a day shift schedule and hybrid work set-up in Cabuyao, Laguna
