Senior Manager, AI Value Realization

Job Overview

TE has demonstrated significant AI activity, with more than 250 use cases in pilot. The next challenge is enterprise scale: many solutions remain limited to one or two sites. This role is accountable for changing that by replicating proven AI solutions across the enterprise and converting reuse into measurable productivity.

The position is an operational scaling and value-realisation role. It connects the Lighthouse operating model, TEOA Business System, BU AI Product Owner network and AI360 catalogue to accelerate adoption across autonomous business units and sites.

The Senior Manager, AI Value Realisation is accountable for converting proven AI solutions into enterprise-wide productivity. The role works across all five supply chain pillars and all ten business units to ensure that proven solutions are deployed, adopted and delivering value wherever applicable.

Success requires strong influence without direct line authority, credibility with plant and operations leaders, disciplined reuse of proven solutions, and rigorous tracking of adoption and financial value.

Job Responsibilities

1. Own Replication Across the Five Pillars of ION (Core Responsibility: Develop & Source)

• Identify where a solution proven in one pillar or business unit applies elsewhere and drive replication to the relevant sites and BUs.


• Apply the appropriate scaling model: Source and Deliver can scale horizontally across BUs, while Make and Develop primarily scale within a BU.


• Maintain an enterprise view of what exists, what is proven and what is spreading, and identify duplicate problem-solving efforts across BUs.


• Chair guardrail reviews for duplicate builds, keeping the review focused on duplication without creating a broad approval gate for innovation.

2.Run the Kaizen Event Circuit

• Lead the structured Kaizen Event circuit at Lighthouse sites within the TEOA Business System.


• Enforce catalogue-first discipline: match opportunities against existing assets before any new solution is scoped.


• Ensure a new build proceeds only when appropriate architecture review confirms that no proven solution covers the need.


• Ensure each event concludes with a committed portfolio, named BU owner, delivery dates and a within-BU replication map.

3. Build and Lead the BU Network

• Establish and lead the network of BU AI Product Owners across all ten business units through a matrix leadership model.


• Run a quarterly cross-BU forum focused on horizontal reuse and transfer of proven solutions across Lighthouse teams.


• Assess site AI readiness before Lighthouse confirmation and work with BU and TEOA leadership to close readiness gaps.

4. Drive Adoption, Not Just Deployment

• Own the people and change-management aspects of scaling, including site change agents, learn-do-teach capability building and locally relevant change narratives.


• Track functionality usage and user adoption by site and intervene when a deployed solution is not being used or is not delivering intended value.

5. Own Catalogue Quality

• Be accountable for the AI360 catalogue being complete, accurately rated and usable, in partnership with the AI360 Product Owner who owns the platform.


• Ensure replication packs meet the standard required for another site to deploy a solution with minimal central support.


• Feed learning from every Kaizen Event back into the catalogue so each engagement improves reuse readiness for other business units.

6. Report and Defend the Number

• Report replication and adoption performance monthly by BU and quarterly to the Operations SLT.


• Partner with Finance to validate TEBIT attribution and maintain disciplined benefit counting, with each benefit booked once by the organization that realises it.

Job Requirements

• Operational credibility: 10+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing or operations, including experience in a plant or distribution environment.


• Influence without authority: Demonstrated success driving cross-site or cross-BU change in autonomous organizations without direct line authority.


• Lean and continuous improvement fluency: Deep familiarity with a structured business system such as TEOA, TPS, WCM or equivalent, and practical experience using Kaizen as a working method.


• Technical literacy: Sufficient understanding of AI, analytics and data platforms to evaluate feasibility, challenge recommendations and translate between technical and operational audiences.


• Ownership of measurable outcomes: Prior accountability for a P&L, productivity, savings or similar performance target, with evidence of delivery.


• Execution discipline: Ability to maintain scope boundaries and operating-model discipline under competing stakeholder demands.

Desirable

• Experience deploying the same solution across multiple sites and managing the operational challenges of replication.


• Exposure to product-management practices including backlogs, releases, configuration and customisation decisions.


• Experience in a matrix or hub-and-spoke organization with strong local autonomy.


• Multi-region experience and comfort working across cultures and time zones.
