POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Senior Manager, Technical Operations works as a part of technology operations team to perform daily operations support of the company’s technology infrastructure operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversees daily 24x7 Enterprise Server/Storage/Backup/Datacenter Infrastructure and Virtualization technology.
2. Manages Windows, VMware, SAN, Unix/Linux and relevant disaster recovery technology solutions.
3. Identifies, plans, designs and manages enterprise technology projects.
4. Develops, implements and manages technology integration solutions.
5. Develops and reviews technology policies and standard operating procedures
6. Illustrates ability to map business requirements to technology solutions.
7. Reviews and proposes technology for optimum usage.
8. Manages server and data center operations to meet ISO20000/ITIL standards.
9. Provides effective leadership and personnel management to ensure positive team morale and efficient communications.
10. Effectively manages the Patch management cycle on identification and prioritization of patches and environments being updated on timely manner.
11. Analyzes penetration test results and engages with business units to resolve identified vulnerabilities within SLAs.
12. Properly forecasts capacity planning for the systems, space and power usage.
13. Recommends and/or executes management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, reassign or discipline employees

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Experience
1. 10+ years of relevant enterprise server and technology experience
2. 5 years in enterprise IT 24x7 enterprise server system integration and operations
3. Experience in large scale Enterprise server, storage and data center project management
4. Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of enterprise integrated systems
5. Experience in Windows, EMC SAN, VMWare, Backup and multi-tier disaster recovery technology 
6. Experience in Lead Enterprise Server and Storage system design - architecture, integration, and implementation

 
II. Education

1. Possesses relevant tertiary academic or professional qualifications
2. Preferably with AWS, Docker, MS Azure, MCSE, ITIL, PMP certifications

 
III. Skills / Competencies

2. Ability to work under pressure
3. Possess strong communication skills
4. Proactive solution-oriented and responsive to users and customers
