Job Role: Senior Marketing & Content Lead

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a fast-growing Australian property advisory business that helps everyday Australians make smarter property purchasing decisions. They specialise in identifying high-potential residential opportunities, guiding clients through the acquisition process, and providing expert insights into market trends across Victoria and selected growth regions nationwide. With a strong reputation built on trust, education, and results, they are looking to strengthen their marketing engine to support continued growth.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Marketing & Content Lead to take ownership of our content marketing and paid media activities. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently manage the entire marketing workflow—from content ideation and video editing to Meta advertising, email campaigns, reporting, and optimization.

You'll work closely with the business owners to develop content strategies, execute campaigns, and generate qualified leads while maintaining a consistent brand presence across multiple channels. We're looking for a proactive self-starter who brings ideas to the table, works independently, and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities: 

Content & Social Media

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on weekly or fortnightly content planning sessions.
  • Develop content ideas, hooks, and messaging aligned with audience interests and business goals.
  • Write scripts for short-form video content across Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging vertical videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
  • Schedule and publish content across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement activities while working alongside existing automation systems.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and content standards.

Paid Media

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimise Meta advertising campaigns across the customer journey (Top of Funnel, Middle of Funnel, and Bottom of Funnel).
  • Conduct audience, creative, and offer testing to improve campaign performance.
  • Design and produce static ad creatives using Canva or similar design platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Deliver weekly reporting on key performance metrics including CPL, CTR, CPC, ROAS, and overall account health.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations on what campaigns, creatives, and strategies should be scaled, paused, or tested next.

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns to subscriber and prospect databases.
  • Create, manage, and optimize nurture sequences and automations within the CRM platform.
  • Segment audiences based on engagement and behavioural data.
  • Manage and optimize lead qualification and nurturing workflows using ManyChat or similar marketing automation platforms across channels such as Instagram and Facebook.
  • Improve campaign performance through ongoing testing and optimization.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Maintain a weekly marketing dashboard covering paid advertising, content performance, lead generation, and funnel activity.
  • Prepare monthly performance reviews with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing Meta Ads campaigns beyond simple boosted posts.
  • Strong understanding of campaign structures, audience testing, creative testing, CBO, and ABO strategies.
  • Advanced video editing skills with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent software.
  • Demonstrated experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting ability for advertisements, email campaigns, and social media content.
  • Experience building and interpreting marketing performance reports and dashboards.
  • Experience using Zoho CRM in a business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly proactive and self-directed with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience creating SEO-focused content and blog articles.
  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL).
  • Exposure to the property, real estate, mortgage, finance, or professional services industries.
  • Understanding of marketing automation and lead nurturing best practices.
  • Experience using ManyChat or similar marketing automation platforms.

  • Established copywriting guidelines and tone of voice documentation.
  • Access to all required platforms, software, and marketing accounts.
  • Regular strategy and planning sessions with business stakeholders.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
