Job Description - Senior Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:


The Senior Marketing Manager for the Vascular Business involves leading market research initiatives, conducting feasibility studies, and crafting strategic plans that align with the business objectives of assigned principals while ensuring an optimal spend-to-sales ratio. Additionally, the role requires translating strategic initiatives into actionable marketing programs, overseeing advertising and promotional campaigns, and   ensuring seamless execution. A key responsibility of this role is to drive product adoption and achieve revenue targets. This includes providing training, performance monitoring, and strategic direction to ensure alignment with marketing objectives.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





  • Define market research objectives, identify target markets, and design research plans, develop marketing strategies aligned with brand identity and business goals and set marketing regional plans and targets, lead execution, and monitor program effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing programs; assess performance through regular business reviews, collaborate with (Sales & Product) leadership to define Key Result Areas(KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Is for the sales force, conduct performance appraisals and ensure alignment of sales activities with marketing strategies.

  • Oversee development of marketing collaterals, coordinate with advertising agencies to ensure brand consistency in promotions, participate in principal-led training sessions, reviews, and other initiatives including managing relationships with principals across product segments for long-term business growth and preparation and monitoring of budget and Advertising & Promotions (A&P) plans to optimize resources (ROI) as well as managing market entry strategies.

  • Review and approve expense reports, promotional synopses, and investment proposals, ensure efficient use of marketing resources and track return on investment, guide and support the Product Manager in executing marketing strategies including ensuring team alignment with overall business and marketing objectives.

  • Perform other related tasks assigned to support business goals




QUALIFICATIONS:





  • Graduate of a four (4) year course preferably Bachelor of Science in Marketing or any Business-related course. Master’s degree or units is preferred.

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years working experience; eight (8) years of which in Product Management and five (5) years in Marketing, all in Pharmaceutical / Medical field.

  • Strong background in Marketing Research and Analysis; Adept in Conducting Feasibility Studies; Capable of Searching and Developing New Markets / Principals. Must also have a working knowledge on Forecasting and Inventory Management.
