Senior Motion Designer for ECommerce Brands

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced, senior-level Motion Designer that will be responsible for helping our digital marketing agency client - a leading, award-winning e-commerce agency based in the US - to create high-quality motion graphics and animation for some of the world’s top e-commerce brands. You’ll need to have exceptional experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute motion graphics for various digital platforms including social media, website, and mobile apps
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard innovative animation ideas that align with project goals
• Utilize Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro to create high-quality visual effects, transitions, and animations
• Ensure consistent style and quality across all video content, adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications
• Work closely with editors, copywriters, and marketing specialists to integrate animation with other media elements
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Animation, Film, or Graphic Design preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in motion design or a similar role
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro
• Knowledge of additional tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and additional video editing software preferred
• Strong understanding of animation, visual effects, and graphic design
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of timing and visual awareness
• Capable of receiving, giving, and acting on constructive feedback to improve performance and deliver stellar final products
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work in US Eastern time zone, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Previous experience working the graveyard shift
• Nice-to-have: experience with Gmail and Slack
