The Senior Product Specialist will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the DeRoyal product portfolio across Metro Manila. This role serves as the key point of contact for all DeRoyal-related activities, supporting and mentoring Product Specialists in the territory to ensure strategic alignment, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
This position includes business development, product expertise and in-servicing, implementation of marketing programs, policy compliance, consignment and inventory management, expense control, and related administrative duties.
The role requires 90% fieldwork, primarily involving hospital visits, clinical support, and customer engagement, with the remaining 10% dedicated to administrative tasks such as reporting, planning, and coordination and involves travel-related risks as the position includes travel locally and occasionally internationally, and requires flexibility in work hours and locations, depending on business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product & Clinical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for DeRoyal’ s wound care, orthopedic, and surgical products as well as deliver clinical support, product training, and in-service education to healthcare professionals.
Sales & Business Development: Achieve sales and market share targets in assigned hospital accounts. Including identifying new business opportunities and support post-sales activities.
Strategic Account Management: Lead account planning, manage inventory, case schedules, and sales forecasts and build strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders to drive product adoption.
Market Intelligence & Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback to inform strategy and provide regular insights and reports to management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, marketing, regulatory, logistics, and supply chain teams and support tenders, bids, and contract execution with internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and product usage.
Customer Engagement & Education: Organize speaker programs, roundtable discussions, and continuing medical education initiatives as well as address client concerns professionally and ensure service continuity.
Performance & Reporting: Consistently meet monthly performance goals and contribute to strategic business reviews.
Duties and responsibilities may evolve based on directives from the Business Unit (BU) Head, in alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, or related healthcare field is an edge.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in wound care or surgical products.
Preferably with experience working with DeRoyal or similar product lines.
Strong clinical knowledge and experience in hospital or healthcare settings.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive product adoption
