The Role

They are developing a 130-home net-zero community in Iligan — their first step toward scaling sustainable housing across the Philippines, with 1,200 more homes in the pipeline. They are hiring a Senior Project Development Manager to lead end-to-end execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. With the opportunity to grow into a leadership position shaping both the company’s future and its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of housing and construction projects—from conception to completion—ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
• Manage procurement activities and uphold construction quality by applying international standards tailored to the Philippine context.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, zoning laws, and local planning regulations.
• Track construction progress, monitor contractor performance, and proactively identify and mitigate quality issues or delays.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and drive workflow improvements for faster, more efficient project delivery.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or project execution, with a strong track record in real estate, housing, or community development.
• Experience working with a top construction firm or real estate developer in the Philippines; familiarity with local regulations and market dynamics is essential.
• Exposure to international projects or standards is preferred, with the ability to adapt global best practices to the Philippine context.
• Proven ability to manage and lead Filipino teams, with strong cultural understanding and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, in both English and Filipino.
• High proficiency in Google Workspace and construction/project management tools; strong organizational, problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities.
