SEO Associate Manager

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented SEO Associate Manager to lead our search engine optimization strategies effectively. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and implement innovative SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. Your insights will contribute significantly to client campaign success while keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and algorithm updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search visibility.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, keyword research, link-building strategies, and technical SEO.
• Experience in content optimization and the ability to guide content creation based on SEO best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to present findings and recommendations effectively.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS and familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search traffic and rankings across various digital platforms.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Analyze website performance and provide recommendations for improvements based on SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with content creators to optimize website content for search engines and user engagement.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics, trends, and algorithm updates, making proactive adjustments to strategy as needed.
• Manage technical SEO audits and assist in the resolution of issues that could impact search engine performance.
• Lead link-building initiatives and promote organic site growth through outreach and partnerships.
• Train and mentor junior SEO team members, providing guidance on best practices and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and changes in search engine algorithms to maintain a competitive edge.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive reports on SEO campaign performance for clients and stakeholders.
