SEO Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, particularly local SEO, and experience with LinkedIn marketing, Instagram, and web design. The primary focus of this role is to improve the online presence of trades and construction companies. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, managing social media content, and ensuring effective web design on WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective local SEO strategies to enhance online visibility for trades and construction companies.
• Optimize Google My Business profiles and other local SEO tactics.
• Manage and execute social media marketing campaigns on LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms and blogs, ensuring it resonates with the Australian audience.
• Oversee and perform web design tasks, particularly on the WordPress platform, ensuring sites are user-friendly and SEO-optimized.
• Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and monitor SEO performance metrics.
• Create and manage content calendars for social media and blog posts.
• Utilize video editing skills to produce short videos for platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Ensure content written for clients is in line with the Australian market and cultural nuances.
• Provide measurable results and proof of work, including past SEO results and social media metrics.
• Collaborate with the team to define SEO strategies and goals.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in local SEO and a strong understanding of SEO principles.
• Proficiency in Google My Business and other local SEO tools.
• Experience with LinkedIn marketing and Instagram content creation.
• Strong web design skills, particularly with WordPress.
• Excellent command of English, with the ability to write and communicate fluently.
• Previous experience working with Australian clients or writing content tailored to the Australian market.
• Ability to provide a portfolio of past work, including SEO results, social media campaigns, and content samples.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SE Ranking and any similar SEO tools.
• Basic video editing skills for creating engaging short videos are highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
