Job Description - ServiceNow Developers

Primary Details

Time Type: Full time

Worker Type: Employee

The purpose of this role is design, code, test, correct, and document complex programs and scripts based on agreed specifications and standards, in collaboration with software engineers to develop and integrate software solutions, and enhance existing systems to improve operational applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Expertise in multiple ServiceNow Applications
  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Request, Change), Employee Centre, Virtual Agent
  • HR Service Delivery
  • ServiceNow CMDB configuration
  • Workflow / Flow Designer Configuration
  • Integrations and IntegrationHub
  • Employee Center Configuration
  • Data loads / transform maps
  • Deployment via update sets and unit testing
  • Delivery of technical documentation
  • ServiceNow Architecture
  • MID server implementation and configuration experienc
  • Scripting (JavaScript/REST)
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
  • SDLC and associated methodologies followed
  • Issues resolved or escalated in a timely manner in alignment with SL
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Ensure customer impacts are assessed and addressed in the design and delivery of solutions
  • Proactively build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Analyse business requirements, design and implement solutions
  • Complete impact analysis, determine test coverage requirements
  • Ensure appropriate support to the end users during UAT and Postproduction Testing.
  • Perform implementation, handover and support activities as required

Work Experience:

  • Experience with Yokohama / Zurich is preferred, must be a qualified ServiceNow System Admin and hold at least one Implementation or Application Developer Certification
  • Broad knowledge of software development life cycle processes
  • Relational database and SQL development experience
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial: IT Operations Management, Security Operations, Integrated Risk Management or Software Asset Management Pro
