Job Summary

The Settlement Officer is responsible for the processing and settlement of financial transactions and corresponding corporate actions including but not limited to maturities, coupon/interest, cash dividend payment for all investments of Trust Group accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Settle corporate action for offshore securities
  -    Monitor and announce all corporate action events from various custodians 
  -    Send out letters to the clients
  -    Process CA election to partner custodians based on the clients’ confirmed participation
  -    Prepare worksheet for payment schedules and reconcile vs. corresponding issues, custodian, paying agent
  -    Process and monitor payments to clients


• Timely processing of offshore cash dividend payments


• Enforce compliance to internal policies and procedures as well as external regulatory agencies


• Assists in the preparation of replies/responses to examination comments and audit findings by internal and external auditors for areas concerning his functions


• Coordinate with different functional groups (wealth management, risk management, financial control, technology, treasury) in the fulfillment of assigned duties

Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree holder

  
  


• 
  

  At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in Banking and Finance, Wealth Management, Trust Operations

  
  


• 
  

  Background in Accounting, Investment/ Yield Management, Transaction Processing and Data Management

  
  


• 
  

  Willing to work onsite in Makati
