Job Description - Shift Engineer


The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and maintaining efficient, safe, and cost-effective poultry processing operations. This role focuses on improving production processes across slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, deboning, and packaging to ensure product quality, yield, and compliance with food safety standards.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and analyze processing operations to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, sanitation standards).

  • Optimize equipment performance, line balance, and process flow to maximize yield and minimize waste.

  • Work closely with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve process issues.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects.

  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processing activities.

  • Support new product or process implementation and scale-up activities.
