About Fella Health

Fella Health helps middle-aged men live 10 years longer.

We are the telemedicine clinic for bigger guys, worldwide. We use medical weight loss treatment to solve our fellas' most pressing healthcare need, then remain a fella's core healthcare provider for the rest of their life - focused on men's health, longevity, mental health, and primary care.

We will have served 1 million fellas by the end of 2026, and 10 million fellas by the end of 2028.

Our mission is to solve male obesity worldwide, by accelerating the take-up of GLP-1s in middle-aged men. From this, we’ll become the world’s leading men’s health brand.

We’ve grown >130x since Sept 2022 (currently growing >30% MoM) and are strongly cashflow positive . We have expanded our state coverage to >95% of US population, have started to expand our clinical protocol beyond weight (e.g. testosterone), and are eyeing up international expansion.

We're still a young startup and are moving quickly. We have a long way to go. This is still Day 1.

The opportunity as Social Media Lead

Fella Health is building a world-class team.

As the Social Media Lead at Fella Health, you'll work closely with our Head of Growth and CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that builds brand awareness, fosters trust and credibility, and drives conversions across our key channels.that

You'll start by auditing our current social media presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn, identifying opportunities to improve our content strategy, posting cadence, and engagement tactics. You'll take ownership of creating and curating compelling content that resonates with our target audience, showcases our brand personality, and demonstrates our value proposition.

In addition to managing our core social media channels, you'll actively engage with relevant communities on platforms like Reddit and Quora, building relationships with potential customers, addressing their questions and concerns, and driving traffic back to our website and social profiles.

Over time, you'll continuously analyze performance data and user feedback to optimize our organic social media strategy, testing new content formats, hashtags, and community engagement tactics to maximize reach and conversions.

You'll work closely with our creative and customer service teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

Your efforts will play a crucial role in establishing Fella Health as a trusted and respected brand in the men's health space, attracting new customers and fostering long-term loyalty among our existing user base. By building a strong organic social media presence, you'll complement our paid advertising efforts and contribute to our mission of serving 10 million fellas by the end of 2028.

This is a full-time remote role.

You'll report directly to our Head of Growth ( Dave Lane ), as well as work closely with our CEO ( Richie Cartwright ).

Key Responsibilities

Straight away

Audit and optimize organic social media presence :

  1. Assess : Conduct a comprehensive audit of our current social media profiles, content, and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Identify areas for improvement and quick wins.

  2. Strategize : Develop a data-driven organic social media strategy that aligns with our brand voice, target audience preferences, and business objectives. Set clear KPIs and reporting cadence.

  3. Execute : Take ownership of creating and curating high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives meaningful interactions. Establish a consistent posting schedule and monitor performance.

Engage in relevant online communities - Actively participate in conversations and discussions related to men's health, fitness, and wellness on platforms like Reddit and Quora. Build brand awareness, demonstrate thought leadership, and drive traffic to our website and social profiles.

Collaborate with internal teams - Work closely with our creative, customer service, and product teams to ensure a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints. Provide insights and feedback to inform content creation, customer support, and product development.

In the near future

  • Expand and test new organic social media tactics - Continuously experiment with new content formats, hashtags, community engagement strategies, and emerging platforms to stay ahead of the curve and maximize our organic reach and impact.

  • Influencer partnerships - Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and thought leaders in the men's health space. Collaborate on content creation, cross-promotion, and brand ambassador programs to expand our reach and credibility.

  • Social media crisis management - Develop and implement a crisis management plan to effectively handle any potential social media backlash, negative comments, or PR issues. Monitor brand sentiment and proactively address concerns.

  • Team growth and leadership - As our organic social media presence scales, build and manage a team of social media specialists to support content creation, community management, and data analysis. Provide mentorship and guidance to foster their professional growth and maintain a high-performing team.

Need to have

  • Social media expertise : 5+ years successfully managing and growing organic social media presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.

  • Content creation skills : Strong ability to create compelling, on-brand content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.

  • Community management : Proven track record of building and nurturing online communities, fostering positive interactions, and handling customer inquiries with tact and empathy.

  • Data-driven mindset : Ability to analyze social media metrics, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to continually optimize content strategy and engagement tactics.

  • Cross-functional collaboration : Effective at working with multiple teams, including creative, customer service, and product, to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

Nice to have

  • Influencer marketing experience : Background in identifying, partnering with, and managing influencer relationships to expand brand reach and credibility.

  • Social media advertising knowledge : Familiarity with paid social media advertising platforms and best practices to support and amplify organic efforts.

  • Video content creation : Skills in creating and editing short-form video content optimized for social media consumption.

  • Emerging platform expertise : Early adopter of new social media platforms like TikTok, with a keen sense of how to tailor content and engagement strategies for each channel.

  • Strategic mindset : Ability to develop and execute a long-term social media strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and target audience preferences.

  • Leadership potential : Ambition to grow into a leadership role, managing a team of social media specialists and setting the strategic direction for the company's organic social media presence.
