Good day! We, Blackpearl Technology, seek a driven and experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of ensuring that we deliver the highest quality software products, keeping our partners at the forefront of progress and enabling them to achieve their project goals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery.
• Lead and manage the QA team, conduct performance evaluations and develop plans to enhance individual and collective performance to foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement and efficient testing processes.
• Develop and implement QA strategies aligned with the project goals.
• Track, document, and report the key testing metrics and communicate progress to the clients.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand requirements and testing/project objectives.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s processes.
• Regularly analyze data and identify areas for improvement within the existing processes. Leverage best practices to implement efficient and streamlined workflows.
• Clearly communicate the team’s progress, challenges, and achievements to our client. Deliver informative presentations and updates to keep everyone informed.
  
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• The candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software QA leadership.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a QA team.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (specifically Agile)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Amenable to work on-site at McKinley Hill, Taguig

NICE TO HAVE

• ISTQB certification
• Experience with API testing, Mobile Testing, Web Application Testing
