We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Software Technical Engineer to join our team, specializing in Point of Sale (POS) systems. This role is pivotal in the pre-sales process, involving technical presentations, addressing client queries, and creating requirements and diagrams. The ideal candidate will also assist in project implementations and provide maintenance support to clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:
- Deliver technical presentations to potential clients.
- Address technical queries from clients during the pre-sales process.
- Develop detailed requirements and diagrams to support client needs.
Client Support:
- Provide Level 1 support to assigned clients.
- Manage and enhance the customer experience by anticipating potential service problems and delivering exceptional after-sales service.
- Liaise with the Regional Support Team for issue escalation and resolution.
Project Implementation:
- Assist in the implementation of POS projects, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
Communication and Reporting:
- Provide timely updates to management regarding business performance and other key issues within assigned accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably with POS systems.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation and diagrams.
- Experience in project implementation and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
