Solution Integration Architect (API)

Location: BDO Tower, Ortigas, Pasig City
Work arrangements: Morning Shift, 5x RTO

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Integration Architect (API) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in advising, designing, and implementing technical solutions for digital integration projects. This role requires expertise in API architectures, microservices, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of agile delivery processes. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices, ensuring seamless integration and efficient delivery of digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on technical best practices for digital solutions, including software selection, technical architectures, and implementation processes.
• Advise on design and development iterations, ensuring alignment with technical goals and business requirements.
• Perform detailed analyses of business problems and technical environments to design effective solutions.
• Develop end-to-end technical architectures for digital integration projects, incorporating scalability, security, and performance.
• Offer practical insights and thought leadership in the design, development, and testing of digital solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions for business needs.
• Collaborate with agile teams to define and implement CI/CD processes.
• Ensure smooth delivery of projects by addressing technical challenges and providing mentorship to development teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, and HTML.
• Extensive experience with REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, and JSON for web or mobile applications.
• Expertise in enterprise-scale NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB), in-memory databases, and caching systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, IIS, and WebSphere.
• Knowledge of PaaS/IaaS/SaaS solutions, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Stash, SonarQube, and Performance Center.

Architectural Knowledge:

• Logical and physical data modeling, including creating and managing data dictionaries.
• Experience in designing high availability and contingency solutions.
• End-to-end agile infrastructure architecture expertise across all layers.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including Cisco, TCP/UDP, and LAN/WAN setups.
• Proficiency in DevOps processes and agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, and XP.
