Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at Pointwest, you will play a critical role in aligning technical solutions with client business objectives in the healthcare sector. You will lead technical discussions, design scalable systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your role will involve mentoring team members, researching emerging technologies, and ensuring that the architecture meets both user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  Collaborate with clients’ IT teams to design solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for technical communications and ensure customer satisfaction.

  Recommend technology stacks and frameworks to enhance client capabilities. Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and build long-term relationships.

• Improving the Way We Work
  Implement and oversee best practices for code quality (e.g., code reviews, security). Research emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and processes.

  Mentor and guide development team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Share knowledge and lead internal training sessions.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of software development / IT experience (including Angular, NodeJS, MS SQL Server).

  • 1+ year of experience in cloud environments (Azure).

  • Proven experience designing scalable and high-performance systems.

• Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in SOA, API, Microservices, Serverless, and Messaging solutions.

  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, UNIX) and databases (MySQL).

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.
