The Senior Manager for Special Projects & Strategy will serve as a cross-functional leader for the company’s highest-impact initiatives. This role is responsible for leading strategic projects end-to-end from problem definition and data analysis to execution and stakeholder management, and will act as a key bridge between leadership, operations, and external partners. This individual must be highly analytical, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in ambiguity. The role requires someone who can distill complex data into executive-level insights, interface confidently with senior leadership and investors, and drive execution across multiple teams.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership. You will work directly with founders and the senior team to shape how the company grows, scales, and competes. If you want exposure to how decisions are REALLY made and how companies actually move, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Special Projects
Lead business-critical projects with direct impact on growth, profitability, operations, or partnerships
Structure ambiguous problems into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables
Own initiatives from concept through rollout across departments
2. Data & Insight Generation
Translate large datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Build models, dashboards, and analysis to support decision-making
Create clear executive presentations and summaries for leadership
Act as internal “translator” between analytics and business teams
3. Stakeholder & Executive Management
Present insights, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership
Prepare investor decks, metrics, and strategic narratives
Support fundraising, board, and partnership discussions with data and direction
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams
Align diverse stakeholders toward shared objectives
Push execution without formal authority
5. Business Development & Partnerships
Evaluate new commercial opportunities, products, or pilots
Build business cases for new verticals and initiatives
Support partner negotiations and strategic alliances
Requirements
5–8+ years experience in strategy, consulting, operations, investment or startups
Strong analytical background with ability to work hands-on with data
Proven ability to manage high-value projects from end-to-end
Comfortable communicating with senior leadership and external stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Strong commercial judgment and business intuition
Advantageous
Background in consulting, venture, corporate strategy, or growth roles
Experience working in tech, mobility, fintech, or operations-heavy environments
Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or board reporting
Familiarity with SQL, Excel/Sheets, dashboarding tools, or analytics platforms
