We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Splunk Data Analyst (IC2-G3) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, alerts, and reports that drive data-driven decision-making.

The Role

 As an Splunk Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.


• Collaborating with different teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.


• Optimizing Splunk queries and dashboards for performance and efficiency.


• Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving Splunk-related issues.


• Integrating data from various sources including cloud platforms, network devices, and third-party APIs.


• Staying current with Splunk updates, best practices, and industry trends.


• Documenting changes

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:

Technical Skills Required:

Splunk Core Skills:

• Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language)


• Expertise in building custom dashboards with dynamic panels, drilldowns, and tokens


• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Experience with Splunk Enterprise


• Ability to clean, enrich, and transform data for visualization


• Experience with report scheduling, alerting, and KPI tracking


• Familiarity with visual best practices and user experience design

Core Skills:

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS


• Experience with REST APIs for data integration


• Familiarity with regex for field extractions and data parsing


• Familiarity with version control


• Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, and data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified)


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Analytics, or a related field


• 3+ years of experience in a Splunk-focused role
