Sr. Accounts Payable

• Full time remote position
• Renumeration: up to Php 70k per month.
• Work Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM SYD/ AEST

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role manages the full accounts payable process, improves workflows, and supports the CFO. You will oversee AP operations, handle reconciliations, and guide a junior team member while helping the business improve finance systems.

What you'll do

• Manage the accounts inbox and handle queries, escalating when needed
• Full-function Accounts Payable: invoice entry, approvals, reconciliations
• Review supplier invoices, ensuring approval processes are followed
• Reconcile corporate card transactions and payments
• Identify areas for process improvement to drive efficiency
• Collaborate with other teams to streamline workflows
• Supervise and guide a junior team member
• Support the CFO with finance projects as needed

What we're looking for

• Experience handling end-to-end Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in Xero and SAP (S4 HANA); knowledge of Employment Hero, Lightyear, or Weel is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach
• Experience managing or mentoring a junior team member
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams

Technical Requirements

• Should have personal and working laptop/ Desktop, and one (1) back up
• Has Noise-cancelling headset (for interview and meetings)
• Back up internet connection (at least 100 mbps)
