Sr Analyst - Financial Data Systems - Master Data

Work Setup: Fully Remote

Location: Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines

Role Overview:

The Sr. Analyst – FDS Master Data is tasked with governance and maintenance for financial master data on the Financial Data Systems team. This position will execute the creation, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise financial master data, and validating the use of financial master data in enterprise reporting solutions. This role may also support limited month end close processes and support the reconciliation of financial information across systems, where necessary. 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain master data to align with Hershey’s financial reporting structures, including chart of accounts, cost elements and groups, cost centers, profit centers, allocations and assessments, ensuring accurate and complete master data records.


2. Establish and maintain global processes to maintain financial master data.


3. Develop and maintain reporting to routinely monitor master data to ensure continuous reliability and controls.


4. Partner with business, data, and governance teams to drive consistency and clarity in the use of master data.


5. Support projects and initiatives that use financially relevant data or require reporting that uses financially relevant data.

Other Scope/Dimensions:

• High level of engagement with internal stakeholders (process owners, data & reporting teams in FDS, Finance, HR/payroll and IS)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of SAP S4 modules and related interdependencies, process understanding & improvement


• Knowledge of GAAP and understanding of internal controls, particularly controls around data and master data management


• Detail oriented with analytical thinking & problem-solving skills


• Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting and internal & external financial reporting processes

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business/Information Systems. 

Experience:

• 3-5 years with background in financial accounting, reporting and business systems, and/or master data management 


• CPA or equivalent preferred
