Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate remote & dispersed teams (multiple organizations internal to Manulife, Vendors, other) to identify business and technical needs
  • Define solutions & implement them into our technical environments and businesses 
  • Use Agile methodologies to track work and enhancements in JIRA.
  • Coordinate development efforts with the support and development teams for major enhancements
  • Remain current on standards, technologies, approaches and methodologies
  • Consistently apply the concept of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of project / program management tools, techniques and systems development methodologies, including expert use of Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel. Knowledge of Planview and JIRA preferred
  • Highly effective influence, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to work across the enterprise globally
  • Strong financial management skills to establish controls, track resource/costs and provide timely program monitoring and good business solutions
  • Excellent English communication (both written and oral) with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels
  • Proven ability to multitask both independently and within a team
  • Applicable undergraduate degree or Designation in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience in financial industry
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Action oriented, creative and proactive thinker
  • Willing to work different shifts (North American Business Hours + Asia Business Hours)
  • Successful candidate should have some knowledge of the below technologies:
    • End User Microsoft offerings like Teams, Office, SharePoint
    • Technology Infrastructure including server & cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure)
