Job brief

A dynamic and growing digital solutions firm is seeking an experienced Senior Java Cloud Engineer to help lead the design and development of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Java Spring Boot and cloud infrastructure, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-border teams to support enterprise-scale deployments and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot within AWS or Azure environment
• Develop reusable and scalable modules aligned with best practices in microservices architectur
• Lead deployment and monitoring of production applications on cloud platforms
• Participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and requirement reviews
•  

  Create unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines

   
• Support and troubleshoot live systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level Java development
• Solid expertise in Spring Boot, REST API development, and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database optimization techniques
•  

  Strong grasp of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Redis, or similar

   
• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Azure DevOps, etc
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS or Azure): API Gateway, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, etc.

• Proven ability to build high-performance, low-latency distributed systems

•  

  Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices

   
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with international stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or 

  related discipline

• Familiarity with JVM internals and performance tuning

• Experience with caching/search systems (e.g., ElastiCache, 

  lasticsearch)

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments
