Job Description - Sr Prod Data Input Assoc

Role Purpose:

Under close supervision, responsible for maintaining the IQVIA Canada databases by performing investigation, analysis, and maintenance of pharmaceutical data specifically sales bridges and ensures accurate interventions in a timely manner.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Maintains and enhances the quality on highly-complex databases by analyzing and resolving potential market/database anomalies identified through accelerated product and outlier identification tools. 
  • Responsible for proactive analysis of key client pharmaceutical products.
  • Perform analysis, bridging & resolution of the products database exceptions for internal and external communications.
  • Assures the accuracy and timeliness of additions and modifications to the IQVIA sales databases through input from internal and external sources, while understanding the impact of data trends and on all stakeholders.
  • Responds to client requests and coordinates with other departments to address client needs, issue status and resolution.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating database integrity of pharmaceutical data within the scope of the business.
  • Receives and responds and communicates effectively to Client Data Inquiries via remote client access including routine database processes and methodologies for client inquiry resolution.
  • Utilizes various IQVIA and Mainframe tools to research, analyze, and resolve inquiries that require an understanding of the client and IQVIA processes which may or may not be routine in nature.   
  • Works with various IQVIA internal departments to validate and/or correct database issues and ensures inquiry responses are meeting Client Service Level Agreement guidelines. 
  • Assures that decisions made follow the protocols. Visually monitors data for any trends in client information and apply verification and correction necessities.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent work experience. Nurse or pharmacist is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Basic knowledge in MS Access is an advantage
  • Ability to independently evaluate situations and make decisions based on fact, using standardized requirements
  • Ability to learn client applications and business rules
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a high-pressure team environment
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skill
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skill
