Sr Product Test Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicants will be involved in the evaluation and approval of switching mode power supply development activities such as thermal, EMC, DVT evaluation and mechanical construction review.

> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform full product evaluation of XP product such as thermal, EMC, Safety Approvals and DVT evaluation and presentation of results in XP's DVT test specification format according to DVT schedule
• Writing reports
• Develop modifications and solutions to customer specific issues based on FAE input including building of customer samples
• To perform fault analysis on customer returned units to determine cause of failure and possible improvements to both standard product and application specific modified product

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• More than 7 years’ experience in power electronics design and evaluation
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 -Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint 
• Experience in Power Platform is a strong plus
• Result-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate for continuous improvements
• Good Technical writing capability and communication skills
• Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Hardworking, dynamic, strong responsibility and a good team player
• Ability to understand and analyze power supply circuit, safety requirement and mechanical construction

• Must be amenable to future RTO/Hybrid onsite reporting in Ortigas, Metro Manila
