Responsibilities

• Work in a global Quality Assurance team validating code in multiple projects, define test scenarios from user stories, create test cases, track defects, perform manual and automated testing as need, and report testing status.
• Collaborate with QA team, Product Management, and Development to understand the essence of user stories, requirements, and derive test requirements.
• Create or update automated test scripts using Python or Java script in either Selenium or Robot framework.
• Replicate issues found in scripts in the UI to understand if there is a bug or a problem with the script.
• Create API and performance tests using Postman.

Skills & Experience (Required)

• Familiarity with Agile/iterative QA processes
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Wiki products
• Java development experience (or other object-oriented language)
  • Software automated test design
  • Selenium Web Driver, Robot, or Postman
  • IDE experience, IDE (IntelliJ preferred)
• Experience with at least one Software Configuration Management/version control system (Git preferred)
• Automated testing in AWS or other cloud environment
• Ability to work with distributed teams in a fast-paced iterative development process
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
• Extensive test and troubleshooting experience in a test environment with a demonstrated understanding of product delivery life cycles

Skills & Experience (Preferred)

• Jenkins
• Github
• Able to configure a cloud-based test environment
• Understanding of developing cost-efficient tests and environments in AWS

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
