Staff Consultant, 3D

We are seeking a talented 3D Generalist with experience in film, television, and commercial work. This role requires a versatile artist skilled in creating high-quality 3D content for advertising and storytelling, with strong foundations in photo-realistic, traditional, and digital art.  

Responsibilities: 

• Create photo-real objects, landscapes, and environments. 
• Work with live-action footage, digital still photography, rendered computer graphic elements, and digital paint. 
• Integrate environments, characters, and mechanical/engineering geometry seamlessly into shot work. 
• Collaborate with the CG/VFX Supervisor and production team to deliver 3D elements and animations for assigned sequences. 
• Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining creative and technical excellence. 

• 3+ years of experience in the media/entertainment industry. 
• Proficiency in CG techniques: modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rigging. 
• Strong reel showcasing technical and creative talents. 
• Proven ability to meet milestones and adhere to deadlines. 
• High-level problem-solving and creative thinking skills. 
• Fluency in Houdini, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine 5. 
• Experience with render technologies such as VRay and RedShift (or similar). 
• Effective communication and ability to take direction. 
• Preferred: 
• Associate degree or higher in Cinema, 3D Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience demonstrated through reel). 
• Additional expertise with C4D/UE5/Houdini pipeline. 
• Houdini/Unreal Engine experience. 
• Comparable software experience will be considered.
