Supplier Quality Engineer

This position is responsible for the quality of the product/raw materials delivered from the supplier to Littelfuse. Monitor suppliers with poor performance through SQI, Scorecard, and by implementing quality tools with suppliers. 8D report review,
PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, etc. Conducts annual audit of existing suppliers. Interface between plant operation and supplier. Interface between the end user and supplier when a quality issue arises.

About the job:

• Supervise and monitor the overall quality of the legacy supplier. Provide leadership and work with the functional team to resolve supplier quality issues that affect quality metrics and the production line.
• Responsible for Caweb/Aras issuance to the supplier. Lead/Monitor 8D analysis/discussion and closure of actions to all suppliers. Ensure quality tools, 8D methodologies, and requirements are fully implemented in the suppliers' review and 8D report.
• Spearheading and driving the discussion with the Supplier or Ops team whenever there are supplier/material issues (Quality, Delivery, Etc).
• Establish a supplier annual audit plan and actual audit execution (QMS or Process audit).
• Lead supplier scorecard monitoring and actions under B and C scores. Also, monitor LF and supplier SPC performance and require a reaction/improvement plan as necessary.
• Lead/Monitor supplier SPCN until closure (Supplier Process Change Notification).
• Monitor NMR/Blocked stock closure. Conduct regular communication with the Supplier and the Ops team.
• Monitors all external and internal metrics such as SQI, Supplier 8D response, Score card/SPC, NMR for raw mats, Blocked stock, etc. Generates weekly quality report, semi-annual and annual performance report, and discussion with CFT/Management team.
• Support in the product transfer of raw mats from different sites to Phils. site. And support in SSQF / 10 lots monitoring implemented in suppliers review and 8D report.
• Participate and support in other departments and Plant requirements and compliance to standards as below, but not limited to: QMS, EMS, Internal and external auditor, and Projects

About you:

• Graduate of any Engineering Courses, preferably as license Engineer
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Strong command skills to lead the supplier quality activity/improvement and to ensure implementation and execution of the quality management plan.
• Knowledgeable on generic supplier processes such as stamping, molding, plating, drawing, etching, sintering, firing, extrusion, etc.
• Problem solving

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified is an advantage
