Supply Chain and Procurement Associate Director

Requirements:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
• With at least 10 years of work experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Contract Management and at least 5 years of experience in senior purchasing management role
• Experience dealing with a variety of product and services.
• Thorough understanding of IT products and service groups.
• Intermediate to expert level understanding of software license metrics and software procurement trends.
• Detailed understanding and experience of managing suppliers through supply agreements and service level agreements.
• Operational knowledge and commercial and negotiation skills

Duties & Responsibility :

Purchasing

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, ensure that procurement policy and guidelines support the needs of the organization, and that best practices are delivered.
• Understanding of new technologies, trends and their challenges.
• Leads the delivery of procurement strategies relating to all spend areas.
• Leads complex negotiations to optimize overall commercial position.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for key contracts in collaboration with key business areas.
• Implement and maintain new policies and procedures and ensure best practice procurement processes are continually developed.
• Ensure processes and procedures are fully documented and followed.
• Provide strategic supply base management including supplier selection, negotiations, and supplier relationship/performance management.
• Identify and lead the team and seek out cost reduction opportunities.
• Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Coach and lead the purchasing organization.

Contract Management

• Provide procurement expertise to manage suppliers both pre-contract and post-contract.
• Deliver savings through a robust risk and issue management process.
• Develop, measure and monitor KPIs and SLAs for categories of expenditure through supplier reviews.
• Improve supplier performance through internal feedback.
• Monitor compliance with supply agreements by requesting supplier reports.
• Manage central agreements by maintaining a central register of contracts, pricing, details and documents.
• Develop and maintain processes for contacts that are due for renewal and provide feedback on recommended action.
• Maintain all systems information with current and updated supply terms.

General

• Manage and monitor accounting procedures for compliance, coordinate and facilitate completion of requirements in any kind of audit engagement.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
