Tax Specialist

Work Setup: Hybrid (Makati)

The Tax Supervisor reports directly to Finance, Tax and Controls Manager. They are responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance, planning, and reporting to ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. The role is also responsible in tax audits, reconciliations, and the implementation of tax planning strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Positive team player with a collaborative attitude
• Creative and resourceful in finding solutions
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Highly organized and keen to details

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance and Reporting: Preparing and filing BIR forms (e.g., 2307, 1601C, 1601E, 2550M/Q, 1702Q) via eFPS and eBIR.
• Tax Computation & Payment: Accurate computation and timely payment of various corporate taxes.
• Account Recording: Recording, analyzing, and auditing tax-related accounts.
• Advisory: Providing tax advice and interpreting tax laws to ensure the company remains compliant.
