Job Description - Team Lead

The Business Development unit is responsible for generating revenue, new business opportunities, and developing the Health of the Survey. The Survey Growth team encompasses strategies for boosting revenue, business expansion on the multi-sector survey program, and partnerships for better profitability.


 


The Business Development Team Lead (Sectors) as a member of the Business Development team, has a key role in sustaining and growing market surveys through focused engagement and the conversion of non-paying participants into clients.


 


As a Community Practitioner, the BD TL has a deep understanding of the Community™ Market product and how it can serve as a channel to access the other components of Community™.



Duties and Responsibilities: 



  • Establish strong relationships with customers by maximizing networking opportunities. Lead the program by entering niche markets, reaching new & existing strategic partnerships;

  • Implement referral programs by building customer loyalty & trust, providing satisfactory service levels, and Identifying opportunities in target markets;

  • Assemble and manage the team, planning and coordinating multi-channel activities;

  •  Cultivate a perspective of collaboration and networking. Persistently reach out to potential networks, and secure placements and partnerships by building the right visibility for our expertise;

  • Work closely within the business development team and develop cooperative working relationships with the other units through the provision of accurate and timely information as required to the team and senior management;

  •  Conduct prospect research on potential partners, whether firms and/or individual consultants, to find the most efficient channel to reach our target market



Targeted Specialized Knowledge



  • University degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or related fields

  • Prior specific experience in business-to-business sales, consultative sales and client management; background in Human Resources and exposure to HR products and services desirable

  • Fluency in English is essential to communicate in writing or speaking
