JOB SUMMARY:
The Team Lead for the Migration Teamoversees a group of specialists in facilitating seamless transitions for clients migrating from legacy software to our new SaaS platform. This role requires strong leadership, a focus on customer satisfaction, and a deep understanding of migration processes to enhance the customer experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
-Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 4-6 Migration Specialists to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while also actively participating in migration activities.
-Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement training initiatives.
-Engage in constructive feedback within a peer review environment to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and improve service delivery.
-Conduct training sessions for team members on new processes, tools, and industry best practices.
-Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for the migration program.
-Act as a liaison between the migration team and senior leadership, providing regular updates, and supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve the migration experience.
-Champion a customer-centric approach, prioritizing satisfaction, and retention throughout the migration process.
-Manage and resolve customer escalations related to the migration process to ensure a seamless transition to the new generation software, maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
-Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating insights into team strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor or associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of experience in client services, project management, training, or consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
