The Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati with the role of Technical Engineer.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Bank's technology modernization efforts by developing secure, scalable applications across front-end and back-end layers, enabling faster delivery of business capabilities through agile, high-quality engineering practices. What the role will entail

• Build secure, scalable, and maintainable front-end and back-end components, aligned with coding standards and business requirements
• Develop services and features that integrate seamlessly with internal systems or third-party platforms
• Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and adherence to secure coding practices, as well as support defect resolution
• Participate in incident resolution, enhancements, and code refactoring to ensure system stability and performance
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Protect applications from vulnerabilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar development role
• Solid hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java, Node.js, or Python
• Proficiency in working with relational (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for clean code, optimization, and continuous improvement
