Technical Estimator

Position Overview RecruitGo is in search of a Technical Estimator who will be working with our client based in Cranleigh, UK. Our client is a company that focuses on manufacturing and supplying smoke control systems. Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone upbeat, analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses impeccable communication skills in both written and verbal using the English language. Responsibilities:

• Review incoming customer documentation, surveys, and site-specific material to generate quotes and bills of quantity that meet the customer’s requirements
• Review sales and customer information to generate an accurate quotation
• Source prices for special items from the technical team for inclusion in quotation
• Provide hand-sketched building/wiring schematics with key project-specific points that colleagues will need to feed back to the customer
• Generate quotes using the CRM system (HubSpot), including Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and pricing
• Provide backup for Sales by answering questions and queries from colleagues/staff relating to the system setup on the project
• Become thoroughly acquainted with all technical, legislative, and regulative requirements for smoke control
• Manage customer relationships and inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support
• Prepare property summary reports including basic property analysis
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute promotional activities and campaigns
• Quote turnaround time from receipt of information/request to quote on CRM
• Quotations are compliant with relevant regulations and guidance
• Quote revisions/quote accuracy before the order placed
• Pricing within discount parameters

Qualifications:

• English and Maths equivalent to GCSE grade C/4 minimum
• Microsoft Office 365 familiarity
• CRM and ERP system experience
• Engineering experience/qualifications – fire and/or mechanical and electrical
• Knowledge of construction industry terminology, basic processes, and scale working
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations/processes
• Working with scale documents or projects
• Able to self-manage time, tasks, and priorities
• Methodical Works well to deadlines/finishes tasks
• Accurate
• Excellent listening skills
• Customer-centric
• Touch typing
• Exposure to the construction, fire, or similar industries
• Familiarity with practical construction environment eg DIY
• Minimum of 2 years work experience

• Salary Range: 35,000 TO 40,000 Php, inclusive of 13th-month pay.
• Work Schedule: 8 hours daily with 30 minutes of break
