Technical Services Engineer BIM | VDC

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Services Engineer – BIM | VDC to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary technical resource, providing expert support, troubleshooting, and training to internal teams and external stakeholders. With hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bentley tools, you will ensure the smooth implementation of BIM/VDC workflows and deliver high-quality technical services. This is a critical, client-facing role that requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for BIM/VDC tools and workflows, responding promptly to inquiries.


• Act as a liaison between internal teams and operations associates to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.


• Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations to enhance team proficiency in BIM/VDC tools and processes.


• Prepare detailed reports, including troubleshooting logs and solution documentation, to contribute to the knowledge base.


• Assist with planning, testing, and implementing new products, services, and upgrades.


• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and software to provide informed recommendations and feedback to product development teams.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering (or related field).


• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a BIM/VDC role.


• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bentley Microstation/OpenBuildings.


• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve technical issues.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical collaboration and reporting.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.


• Familiarity with automation tools, plugins, and workflow optimizations.


• Experience delivering technical training or presentations.


• Certifications in Autodesk, Bentley, or Bluebeam software (preferred but not required).
