Technical Web Strategist

As a Technical Web Strategist at RealPage, you sit at the intersection of analytics, CRO and front-end engineering. You bring data-backed experiment ideas to life and track how they impact key conversion paths and user engagement. You will also use your technical expertise to assist with the maintenance and development of our key web properties. The Technical Web Strategist role reports directly to the Director of Web Strategy and CRO and works closely with our Web Engineering team.

• Support the day-to-day management and maintenance of 10+ web properties: 
  • Build, update, and optimize web pages across various CMS platforms, including WordPress and Prismic. 
  • Address critical technical issues and collaborate with web and product engineering to resolve.
  • Develop templates, components, and custom plugins to support marketing initiatives. ·
• Implement CRO experiments (A/B testing, personalization) and fuel execution of our CRO calendar.
• Analyze experiment outcomes and assist with the development of new features/user experiences when appropriate.
• Maintain our GA4 properties (audiences definitions, custom events, custom dimensions, metrics, etc.) and our various Google Tag Manager containers.
• Build Looker Studio dashboards to help the marketing team track website performance and proactively address reporting anomalies and issues.
• Create quick, effective wireframes and prototypes in Figma
• Assist with performance reporting and insights, including data validation and analysis.
• Collaborate with the web engineering and marketing ops teams on a regular basis and push code updates to our dev and staging environments for code review and UAT.

• 5+ years working as a web developer, front-end engineer, or similar technical role.
• Undergraduate degree or a front-end development certificate from a reputable program

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Strong proficiency in:
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript o React.js and o Version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress content updates and advanced custom fields. (bonus points for working with headless CMS implementations).
  • Solid understanding of APIs and backend integration concepts.
  • Expert-level understanding of core GA4 and Google Tag Manager concepts.
  • Experience supporting CRO and experimentation efforts.
