Job Description - Territory Account Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a market leader in the electrical infrastructure products and services ecosystem. With over USD 1 Billion in global sales and more than 5000 employees all over the world - our client is one of the top 5 connectivity providers globally. Recognized among the most valuable brands in their domain of business, they have aggressive growth plans which will be driven by strong business development and sales capability. They are looking for a Territory Account Manager with competency in New Business Development.

Job Description

  • Setting and communicating sales targets that promote long-term incremental sales growth within a set of named focus end user accounts.
  • Developing and executing evidence-based sales plans to meet the pre-set annual sales target.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with new accounts and top named key account clients.
  • Traveling to businesses to conduct sales presentations, understand customer current practices, and propose solutions improvement proposal with the available product solutions from the company.
  • Resolving clients' concerns in a timely and amicable manner.
  • Maintaining detailed records on key accounts.
  • Presenting in-depth reports to the director of sales and other stakeholders, as required.
  • Conducting regular market research to maintain an updated knowledge of consumers' needs and competitors' activities.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields is recommended along with experience in managing structured cabling systems / Network Connectivity solutions. Consultative selling skills, Solutions Proposals based on customer requirements is crucial. The person must demonstrable sales experience as an effective "hunter", not "farmer" with a proven history of meeting sales targets. Proficiency in customer relationship management software and excellent written and verbal communication skills are important. The person is likely to exhibit strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities along with the ability to build long-lasting professional relationships. He/she would have a self-driven approach to work.
