Test Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Analyst with hands-on experience in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks and test automation using Playwright (Python). The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through structured testing strategies and automation. Youll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Playwright with Python

Implement and maintain BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test frameworks

Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria

Identify, report, and track bugs through to resolution

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies

Contribute to test documentation and quality reporting using Jira and Confluence

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Python)

• Proven experience in BDD test frameworks (e.g., Behave, Cucumber)

• Ability to design and write clear, maintainable automated test scripts

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices

Preferred (Should-Have) Skills

• Familiarity with Docker for containerized testing environments

• Experience with Git for version control

• Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD automation

• Proficiency with Linux command-line tools

• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Understanding of Apache Camel integration patterns

• General Python scripting beyond test automation
