Staff4Me is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Tier 1 Technical Engineer specializing in networking to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our clients, focusing on networking issues and solutions. You will utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve client inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding networking issues, configurations, and general troubleshooting.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity problems for our clients.
• Document all interactions with customers in our ticketing system and provide timely updates.
• Assist in setting up and configuring networking equipment as needed.
• Work closely with Tier 2 support teams to escalate unresolved issues and provide detailed case documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking protocols, configurations, and best practices.
• Provide training and support for clients regarding networking tools and resources.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss issues, share knowledge, and provide feedback to improve support operations.

• Proven experience in a technical support role, ideally focused on networking.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with common networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
