Job Description - Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) Operations Analyst


Are you early in your insurance operations career and interested in working in a global, fast-paced environment? Join Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and support Trade Credit Insurance operations across the transaction lifecycle. As part of a newly established back-end TCI Operations team, you will contribute to accurate processing, reconciliation, and control activities supporting global integration and ongoing operations.


 


About the Role


As TCI Operations Analyst, you will support trade credit insurance operations across key back-end processes, including partner clearance, premium reconciliation, data migration, and cash allocation activities.


 


This role reports to the VP, Operations Manager, TCI Integration, and is part of a global Credit & Surety Operations team supporting integration and ongoing operational activities.  You will work closely with colleagues across underwriting, finance, and technical accounting to ensure timely and accurate processing in line with applicable Swiss Re Standards.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Operational Delivery



  • Support trade credit insurance operations across the transaction lifecycle

  • Perform partner screening and clearance activities in accordance with established procedures

  • Conduct premium reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency

  • Execute data migration and system-related activities as required for integration and project work

  • Handle cash allocation and assist in resolving related discrepancies

  • Perform four-eyes checks on selected bookings to ensure control compliance

  • Investigate and resolve operational queries in coordination with internal stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate documentation and process records in line with applicable Swiss Re Standards



  • Audit and Reporting



  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to technical accounting and partner clearance

  • Prepare ad hoc operational reports as required


 


About the Team


The Credit & Surety Operations team supports global business partners in delivering high-quality, well-governed delegated authority and specialty insurance programs. Working across regions, the team collaborates closely with underwriting, finance, legal, and risk functions to ensure strong operational standards and effective oversight of partner relationships.


 


As part of this team, you will work in a collaborative, international environment that values structure, accountability, and continuous improvement.


 


About You


You are detail-oriented and take ownership of your day-to-day responsibilities. You are comfortable working with structured processes and understand the importance of accuracy and control in financial and insurance operations.


 


You are a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works effectively with colleagues across functions and regions. You are adaptable and able to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment. You are proactive, eager to learn, and interested in developing your expertise in trade credit insurance operations.


 


Key Requirements



  • 3+ years of experience in insurance operations, technical accounting, credit control, or financial services; experience with trade credit insurance or specialty commercial lines ideal but not required

  • Basic understanding of insurance operations and accounting processes

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Good understanding of administrative and financial control processes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Global mindset and ability to work in multinational corporate environments

  • Good digital literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel required)

  • University degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
