Position Title: Trade Finance Specialist

Job Summary:

Handle the processing of trade documentary credits and guarantees transactions in adherence to existing Bank policies and procedures, local and international regulations.  Process enrollment, transfer and maintenance of bank and customer information in trade processing systems and databases

Role Exposure:

• Get a chance to learn how Metrobank plays a key role in the physical and financial supply chain of our clients


• Opportunity to know how to read and draft Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Standby LCs, plus learn how the local and global guidelines (e.g. BSP regulations, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules) play a big role with Trade Finance


• Grow your network of Metrobank colleagues (e.g. Relationship Managers, Relationship Assistants, Account Servicing Managers and Credit team) as you work in partnership with them on Trade Finance matters

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any business course


• With knowledge or experience in any customer related function is an advantage


• Detail oriented and analytical


• Excellent oral and written communication skills
