Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig with the role of Credit Associate.

As a Credit Associate, you will be responsible for the pre-screening and initial evaluation of loan applications, supporting Credit Officers by ensuring timely and compliant assessments that align with internal policies and regulatory standards.

What the role will entail

• Conducts proper AML/KYC due diligence upon onboarding.

• Performs pre-evaluation of loan applications within the prescribed turn-around time.

• Performs duplicate checking vs. bank systems and bureau database.

• Assesses and recommends acceptability of applicant based on approved policies.

• Ensures all applications processed adhere to credit policies.

• Coordinates with Credit Officers and related teams as needed.

What were looking for

• At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or equivalent.

• Preferably with experience in a similar or related capacity.

• Trainable, keen to details, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with AML/KYC is a plus.
