Procurement Executive

Job Description

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and executing the entire end-to-end procurement process. He / She will ensure that materials and services are acquired in the most advantageous purchase value to the right vendor at the right time.

• Coordinate with vendors to get quotations.
• Day to day documentation on procurement process like keying in data into ERP (Creation of vendor codes, purchase orders, purchase agreements in the system, printing of PO and sending the same to vendors).
• Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates and highlight concerns to the immediate reporting manager.
• Maintains relevant records like a tracker of purchase orders, purchase agreements, supplier master file.
• Preparation of cost comparative reports and purchase committee letters.
• Perform commercial evaluation of bids and develop the integrated award recommendation documents in Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Ensure supplier performance in accordance with the agreed scope, specifications and price.
• Conduct negotiations for purchase order award, changes and back charges as required.
• Interface positively with internal and external customers and suppliers.
