US Assurance Associate - GSG (Night Shift)

Your appointment as Assurance Associate shall be on a full time basis. This role works U.S. hours (PH Night Shift). As Assurance Associate you shall perform the following functions: 

    • Learn and complete assurance procedures according to guidelines and firm procedures
    • Assess compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial accounts, fixed assets and inventories, payrolls or cash accounts, grant program costs, records, reports, operating practices, documentation, and related instrument
    • Verify information by comparing and analyzing items to documentation
    • Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
    • Communicate audit progress and findings to the project manager
    • Complete the necessary analysis of accounts for review and compilation engagements. This includes proper completion of checklists and substantive workpapers
    • Complete the financial reporting for all types of engagements, including financial statements, management letters, governance letters and management representation letters
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assignments on a timely basis
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
    • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team
    • A self-starter who is curious and not afraid to ask questions
    • Efficient with the ability to follow instructions, while maintaining strong attention to detail
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills
    • Above-average proficiency in Office 365; particularly Word and Excel
 • Comfortable learning new technology
