Job Description - US Payroll Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a US Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. This position will be employed through LennorHive EOR and assigned to support one of our clients. The selected candidate will receive a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with ongoing HR and employee support throughout their employment.

Work Schedule: Night Shift
Work Setup: Remote, Philippines
Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation Flexibility: Open to negotiation for highly qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process accurate and timely U.S. payroll for multiple clients across various pay cycles.

Review payroll inputs, identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections.

Manage employee payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits.

Handle payroll adjustments, reversals, voids, and off-cycle payments as needed.

Respond to client and employee payroll inquiries and provide timely resolution.

Maintain complete and accurate payroll records and documentation.

Support multi-state, quarterly, and year-end payroll activities.

Partner with HR, Tax, Benefits, and Accounting teams to resolve payroll-related issues.

Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2–3 years of hands-on U.S. payroll processing experience.

Experience processing payroll for multiple clients preferred.

Multi-state payroll experience preferred.

PEO or payroll service bureau experience is a plus.

Must have a reliable personal computer and necessary work equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES

Payroll and HRIS systems.

Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organization and time-management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and discrepancy-resolution skills.

Knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
